Now its possible to read one of the most competent newspaper on your iPhone. Very convenient and helpful.

Why one pay for this digital faked newspaper when one can easily find an old-style paper edition.

Great: easy to use, immediate, clear.

I loved the application and got myself a subscription because the app and the news presentation looks better than anything else I have seen. After using it for while I had the following observations: 1) when the app starts it offers you "pull down to update" but it updates anyway, wether you pull it down or not. 2) the update is extensive and takes quite some time, during which the app is unresponsive for about half a minute and slow to respond after for another half a minute. 3) Even after the update (approx. 3 min.) is finished the app sometimes becomes unresponsive, probably because it is preloading advertisements or other non-disclosed updates. 4) Full screen adds appear while reading news (with paid subscription!) and exiting the full screen add leaves you with a blank page which you have to exit to get back to what you were reading. 5) The app doesnt offer all of the services of the website, like following and researching equities, which other apps offer at no cost. Conclusion: apps like Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Yahoo, Feedly and others, offer similar news value at no cost but much better speed and sometimes no ads. I am willing to pay for a superior news service but I decided to cancel my subscription to the NYT because of the above.

I used to LOVE this app..used it twice a day. Then came the so called "update" and it ruined everything..now its super SLOW (updated iOS on both iPhone 3 gs and 4)..just a few articles for free-all else available only ob subscription ,crashes or freeze often etc etc just an awful experience all in all. Sorry for the bad review but 2 stars is actually a lot!

I can say this by beeing italian:i found all im searching for on this news paper Form international politics to tech and health. If i want to read some italian politics from a us paper i do it with the nytimes. Good application and fine minimal design.

Nice app, fast access to news and chapters but headings are not working, they overlap each other when scrolling through tabs making it unreadable, please update!!
